AGYA Annual Conference 2023

The AGYA Annual Conference Autumn 2023 was organized online. During the General Assembly, 14 new members  from Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany were festively inaugurated.

Furthermore, a new Steering Committee was elected: 
Dr. Phillip Grimberg (Sinology, Heidelberg & Nuremberg), 
Prof. Dr. Sascha Hein (Educational Sciences, Berlin), 
Dr. Mujtaba Ali Isani (Political Sciences, Berlin/Islamabad), 
Prof. Dr. Lobna Said (Electrical Engineering and Engineering Sciences, Cairo), 
Dr. Abdulsatar Sultan (Business Administration, Erbil), and 
Prof. Dr. Faouzia Zeraoulia (Political Sciences, Jijel). 

Prof. Dr. Lobna Said was confirmed as Arab Co-President and Prof. Dr. Sascha Hein as German Co-President by the General Assembly.

For twelve AGYA members, the annual conference marked the conclusion of their active membership. Throughout their five-year membership, they all experienced significant career advancements and are now embarking on their new journey as AGYA alumni/ae.
