Lilia Makhloufi
About me
My main research fields are related to architecture and urbanism. I work primarily on housing projects, public spaces, the city and urban sustainability. One major academic research project, supported by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education (MESRS), was about architectural and urban ambiances with a case study on theatre. Concerning international research cooperation, to date I have had opportunities to train and collaborate with scholars at French, Belgian and Italian laboratories. I have also been a member of international scientific committees at congresses in Amman and Helsinki, and am a member of the International Ambiances Network. Based in the capital city of Algiers, I teach and conduct research in my role as a Senior Lecturer at the Ecole Polytechnique d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme (EPAU).
For me, AGYA is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and to learn from experts and interdisciplinary teams.
