Sara Abdel Gaber
About me
I am a graduate of the Pharmacy and Biotechnology Faculty, German University in Cairo, and currently affiliated to the Nanomedicine Department at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Kafrelsheikh University. My research focuses on the construction of nanosystems fulfilling biomedical applications, the assessment of their pharmacological activities and the evaluation of their possible toxicities. Cancer treatment and regenerative medicine are milestones in my research interest. I adopt photo-activated therapies and multimodal strategies to overcome resistance and synergize the actions of co-administered drugs. The biological systems that I use vary from isolated cells to animal models.
AGYA is a platform that allows me to establish sustainable collaboration with Arab and German scholars.
AGYA enables conducting innovative cutting-edge research projects that target common challenges in a unique network, which is a great asset for my career development.
