AGYA Alumni Jointly building bridges into the future
About me
My main research focus is on the formulation of nanoparticles from different safe and biodegradable materials, and on testing their applications pre-clinically and clinically. I am particularly focused on loading nutraceuticals in nanoparticles to minimize the side effects of conventional treatments and to maximize the therapeutic outcome for different diseases, such as cancer, Alzheimer’s and dermatological diseases.
I am really proud to be a member of such a vibrant academy, since it provides numerous opportunities and extensive collaboration networks for its members.
From mobility grants to tandem research projects and collaborative working group meetings and projects, AGYA boosts its members’ professional careers. By providing me with support to do cutting edge research in collaboration with German and Arab scientists, and allowing me to engage in societal projects and initiatives in an interdisciplinary manner, AGYA has taken my career to the next level.
