About me
I am a Professor at Leibniz University Hannover, where I work on the topic of distributed real-time systems. My research focuses on stochastic modelling and optimization of networked systems. I serve as Principle Investigator for several research projects funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG), including: ‘Model-based Transition Planning and Prediction’, part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1053 ‘MAKI–Multi-Mechanisms Adaptation for the Future Internet’; the Transfer Project ‘DynSDN: Dynamisches Management von rekonfigurierbaren Industrie 4.0 Echtzeit-Kommunikationsnetzen mittels Software-definierter Infrastruktur’ (English: ‘Dynamic Management of Reconfigurable Industry 4.0 Real-time Communication Networks Using Software-defined Infrastructure’); and ‘SPINE: Stochastic Performance Bounds for Information-Centric Communication Networks’.
By participating in AGYA, I aim to significantly contribute to achieving shared objectives in innovation and technology between Germany and the Arab world.
My main goal is to strengthen Arab-German research cooperation, especially in the face of challenges, on topics such as connected energy, transport, and health infrastructure. With my background in the field of communication networking and distributed systems, as well as my experience in different interdisciplinary research projects, I aim to establish promising projects through AGYA on connected technologies with partners from the Arab world.
