Interdisciplinary Training: Arab-German Climate Finance
The training, organized by the AGYA Working Group Energy, Water and Environment, introduced participants from diverse academic backgrounds to the key concepts, actors, and processes shaping international climate finance. It explored how research and academic institutions can contribute to the development of climate-related projects and engage with funding opportunities to address climate challenges.
By connecting scientific evidence with practical approaches to climate action, the training strengthens participants’ capacities to identify, access, and leverage international climate finance. It also provided a platform for interdisciplinary exchange on translating research findings into actionable projects and fostering collaboration between academia and climate finance practitioners.
