About me
I am an Egyptologist with a PhD from the University of Bonn. Over the last years, Egyptology became a composite discipline associated with several other fields, which help to study the remains from archaeological excavations and to understand the relationship between the ancient Egyptians, neighbouring cultures and communities, and their natural environment. In my AGYA activities, I aim at bringing all these aspects together to present valuable contributions for both professionals and non-specialists. I would like to help raise awareness of archaeology and Egyptology in Arab countries, especially among young people.
In AGYA, we strengthen scientific cooperation and build networks of strong partnerships with young academics in Germany and the Arab countries. This is very inspiring and motivating.
