AGYA Alumni Jointly building bridges into the future
About me
I am an associate professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the College of Basic Education within the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. My research interests lie in investigating pharmacological and lifestyle interventions, particularly related to physical activity, that prevent and treat age-related chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension, type-2 diabetes, cognitive impairment, and obesity. Furthermore, I am interested in the beneficial effects of habitual exercise on public health.
AGYA provides me with a valuable platform for expanding my skills and professional network, with the aim of improving the quality of my research on the important role of physical education and nutrition in preventing chronic diseases.
