Interdisciplinary Workshop: Preservation of Knowledge in Times of Crisis
Protection and Management of Research Data and Knowledge Infrastructure
This workshop seeks to address solutions for safeguarding scientific infrastructures and knowledge systems by establishing a network of Arab and German researchers who develop concepts and strategic approaches to improve data management and accessibility; exchange on digital data preservation methods, present best-practices of collaborative research models and management of scientific legacies.
The event aims to initiate potential collaborations, determine areas for training programs, and formulate recommendations for improved management of research data.
The workshop takes place in cooperation with the University of Addis Ababa and the National Museum of Ethiopia.
