Exhibition: INSIDE THE STUDIO. Spaces of Electronic Music Production Berlin/Cairo

While techno and electronic dance music (EDM) are synonymous with pulsating club floors and euphoric festival crowds, their true genesis occurs in spaces largely invisible to the public. This exhibition offers an unprecedented glimpse into the creative laboratories where electronic music comes to life.

The exhibition presents the culmination of collaborative AGYA projects by alumni Prof. Dr. Matthias Pasdzierny, Dr. Amro Ali, and AGYA member Majid Al-Busafi. It showcases a curated selection of photographs that juxtapose EDM studio spaces in Berlin and Cairo, revealing the intimate environments where sound transforms into cultural phenomenon.

Through the lens of internationally renowned photographer Gero Cacciatore, visitors encounter the workspaces of electronic music artists across two vibrant cultural capitals.
