About me
My research revolves around the application of innovative Medicinal Chemistry approaches for drug discovery and optimization. I am interested in studying drug–target interactions using biophysical techniques and molecular modelling for understanding the mode of action and interpretation of activity. Moreover, I employ structure- and ligand-based design strategies for optimization of synthetic and natural compounds. Ultimately, I am engaged in (micro)biological evaluation of the novel compounds and formulations thereof.
Being a member of AGYA is a great opportunity for me to develop my personal skills through the trainings offered by AGYA.
In addition, the funding, collaboration and expertise available in AGYA create an ideal environment to realise projects that serve the society. Most importantly, I can connect with other AGYA members from different academic and cultural backgrounds to share experiences, gain inspiration and open new avenues for my career.
