Samar Saad Eldeen Azab

I work as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. My work involves an academic part of teaching under- and postgraduate pharmacy students. Furthermore, I am also interested in scientific research areas related to the modulation of drug resistance in cancer cells.

My most influencing professional experiences, so far, were my visit to the University of Texas as a PhD student and my post doc fellowships at the Tumor Biology Center Freiburg. Since then, I have been concerned with studying and applying highly advanced academic skills and techniques in my country. The aim from my membership in the AGYA was to establish international scientific networks to help me and my students for proceeding in our professional careers. I believe that AGYA supports innovation through academic as well as research quality.
