AGYA Alumni Jointly building bridges into the future
About me
My research focuses on designing and understanding the properties of nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications. My lab develops nanomaterials that can play an important role in green devices such as solar cells, light emitting diodes, batteries, etc. The unique optical and electronics properties of these nanomaterials will unfold new ideas in energy efficient optoelectronic and electronic devices.
I consider myself a Saudi with a broad international outlook. As a faculty member in Materials Science and Engineering, I look at the AGYA as an ideal venue for me to establish interdisciplinary research collaborations with other young leaders in Arab countries and Germany. I intend to integrate interdisciplinary expertise and leadership within the AGYA and to work on collaborative research that might provide solutions to energy, water and environmental issues in Arab countries and beyond.
