About me
I am a Senior Researcher at the New Production Institute at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg, exploring how open-source hardware, Fab Labs, and distributed production can transform the way we design, make, and share technology. My research focuses on enabling local and sustainable production ecosystems where knowledge and tools are openly accessible to everyone. Currently, I contribute to the Fab City project where we explore how cities can become locally productive and globally connected through open, circular, and collaborative manufacturing systems.
Through AGYA, I seek to connect with like-minded researchers from different disciplines to explore how open technologies can empower communities to become more self-sufficient, resilient, and innovative.
I am convinced that making technology more accessible is key to promoting creativity, technical skills and global cooperation for a fairer and more sustainable future.
