About me

I am a researcher in the Off-Grid Systems unit at the Reiner Lemoine Institut, where I work on climate-resilient energy systems for regions strongly affected by climate change. My research focuses on island electrification, mini-grid planning, green hydrogen as seasonal storage, climate risk assessment and load analysis, with particular experience in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. I am especially interested in how decentralized renewable energy systems can be designed to remain reliable under increasing climate risks while meeting local needs.

Through AGYA, I aim to strengthen interdisciplinary and international collaboration on climate resilience, sustainable energy access and just energy transitions as well as people-centred science communication.

I contribute my experience in applied energy-system research and project work, while benefiting from the exchanges with researchers from different disciplines and regions and developing new joint research initiatives.
