AGYA at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023
AGYA took part at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) 2023 in a third consecutive year in a row. AGYA joined the German exhibition stand and presented publications on topics such as Women Writers, Medieval Stories for Young Readers, Innovative Approaches on Ruins, Musicology and Ethnology, and the Humanities in the 21st Century to a larger audience.
Sheikh Zayed Book Awar
At the Abu Dhabi Book Fair, AGYA alumnus Prof. Dr. Bilal Orfali, Sheikh Zayed Chair for Arabic and Islamic Studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB), moderated the ‘Joy of Arabic’ seminar in the framework of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award events at the book fair with AGYA member Prof. Dr. Enass Khansa, Head of the Department of Arabic and Near Eastern Languages at AUB, joining the high-ranking panel with former and current award winners.
