Anaheed Al-Hardan
AGYA Alumni Jointly building bridges into the future
About me
I am an associate professor of sociology at Howard University. My main research interests centre around four broad themes: Palestinian counter-memory, the Afro-Asian anti-colonial movement, sociology of colonialism, and South-South networks in the former German Democratic Republic (GDR).
I have long-standing academic ties to German academic communities, which AGYA has enabled me to further foster and extend. Through AGYA, I have also been able to pursue interdisciplinary projects and advance my research on historical German-Arab anti-colonial networks.
