In December 2017 AGYA members visited Brussels to discuss current challenges for EU-Arab Cooperation with high-level representatives of the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament and NATO.

Math as a Global Factor: International AGYA Panel Discussion

Mathematics as a global factor of connectivity and social development – With this notion in mind, the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) together with Texas A&M University at Qatar organized an international panel discussion in Doha on ‘Mathematics and Internationalization: Innovative Approaches in Research and Education’ on 26 November 2017.

Math on the Next Level: AGYA’s 2nd Math Olympiad Camp

Reaching the next mathematical level – That was the proclaimed goal of the 50 students and 50 teachers who participated in the 2nd AGYA Math Olympiad Camp in Doha from 23 to 25 November 2017. Solving mathematical challenges by learning new problem-solving techniques and mathematical concepts was at the heart of the camp.
