AGYA presents a large variety of events, including talks between AGYA members and invited intellectuals from the Arab diaspora on topics such as migration, education, arts, and transcultural identities. The exchange on these topics accompanies an exhibition, showcasing selected portraits of the Arab exile community in Berlin.
In a hybrid fishbowl on 'The New Now in Science and Research', AGYA members discuss together with the audience topics such as responsible research, travel and access (in)equalities, ideas on permeable research systems, public engagement, scientists as activists, and sustainable cooperation on equal terms.
At Einstein-Hall, AGYA Principal Investigator Prof. Dr. Verena Lepper introduces the AGYA projects called 'Global Berlin in the 21st Century' tackling Arab-German perspectives on transformations in Berlin, urban mobility, concepts of health and happiness, and innovative exhibition formats.
After the panel discussion, sound artist Amin Fallaha imagines urban soundscapes in a DJ set and presents his acoustic vision of future city life.
