Open Door Event: AGYA at Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2023

AGYA joins the Long Night of the Sciences (Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften) 2023, picks up the annual topic of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW), Enlightenment, and presents a Science Walk through the Academy garden.

AGYA Science Walk through the green treasures of the Academy Garden

The BBAW garden is an interactive urban space for scientific encounters. In audio and light installations, AGYA presents current research on urban vertical farming and food security, plants and herbs in nanomedicine, plants as cultural heritage from an Arab-German perspective as well as current voices on Enlightenment(s) and female empowerment in science. Follow the track and explore gardens, horticulture, and plants of the Enlightenment, highlighted in their historical as well as contemporary context. What does a garden mean to you? What is a garden?
