About me

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics, Palestine Polytechnic University. I am a group leader of the cooperative research group ‘Linear Algebra and Matrix Analysis’ at the Palestine Polytechnic University. My broad research interests are in matrix theory, linear and multilinear algebra, graph theory, and combinatorics.

I strongly believe that being an AGYA member is a great opportunity for me to continue and establish new interdisciplinary research collaborations with other young colleagues in Arab countries and Germany. I am especially interested in collaborative research that might provide solutions for mathematical, engineering, educational, and social problems.

Current projects

  • Member of the AGYA Working Groups Arab and German Education and Health and Society
  • Together with Prof. Dr. Jürgen Garloff at HTWG Konstanz, Germany, and my colleagues at the Palestine Polytechnic University, I am working on matrix interval problems of totally nonnegative matrices and related problems
  • Together with Prof. Dr. Shaun Fallat at the University of Regina, Canada, I am working on the inverse eigenvalue problem of graphs and related problems.
