About me

Currently I am an assistant professor at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training-Department of Physical Education and Sports in Kuwait. My research interests lie in investigating pharmacological and lifestyle interventions (particularly physical activity) that prevent and treat age-related chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension, type-2 diabetes, cognitive impairment, and obesity. Furthermore, I am interested in the beneficial effects of habitual exercise on public health.

My AGYA membership provides me with a good platform to utilize my research skills, with the aim to improve the quality of research on the important role of physical education and nutrition in preventing chronic diseases.
