About me

I am Co-Principal Investigator in two nationally funded projects about wastewater treatment and smart irrigation in the Internet of Things era. My research tracks involve:

  • water management and agriculture (fruits and vegetables) in a theoretical and experimental framework.

As an AGYA member, I can extend my professional and cross-cultural experience on an international level, interacting with diverse people of interdisciplinary research backgrounds. AGYA provides a unique platform for the debate and analysis of new technologies and proposes dialogue-based responses. I wish to improve my science communication skills and increase public awareness of the relevance of science for society. The personal growth gained from AGYA training and research activities improves my guidance qualities as a teacher, helping me empower my (female) students regardless of their ethnic and social backgrounds. I am grateful for the funding opportunities offered by AGYA, which enable innovative interdisciplinary research.
