About me
I am Associate Professor of Marketing at Gulf University for Science and Technology, Kuwait. My research interests include cross-cultural studies in the area of consumer behaviour and technology, social media, and innovations. Currently, I am working on several research projects related to digital disruption, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), social media crisis management, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In my opinion, AGYA is a perfect place for cultivating interdisciplinary and intercultural research between Germany and the Arab region. It is a much-needed platform many young researchers across disciplines are looking for after pursuing their PhD degrees, including myself. My motivation for becoming an AGYA member was the support and inspiration the academy gives to its members. I wish to act as an ambassador of science and culture representing my country, Kuwait and join the Working Groups Innovation and Transformation for collaborative research projects.
